Ethically Made is an importer of unique products from South Africa and around the world that are 100% Fair Trade certified. The style of the logo is bold, simplistic and funky. The “Y” from “Ethically” is transformed into a simple image of an african woman working and carrying a traditional vessel on her head. Women do not have equal rights in developing countries so using an image of a woman strengthens the idea of fair-trade. Women are also major contributers to the jewellery and handcrafts sold as fair-trade products. The colours used are warm and bright but earthy, giving an african feel.
