Following my previous post “Lets use graphic design for social change!” I am creating a series of posts where I will explore 10 ways YOU can use Graphic Design for Social Change. Todays idea: 1. Find a job with purpose!

Idea 1: Work for a not for profit organisation

Imagine if your day job had a purpose! Large not-for-profit organisations do hire graphic designers in-house. The salary may be slightly lower but wouldn’t it be worth it if you were working for a good cause? Knowing that your day to day work will benefit others would give you a huge sense of satisfaction in your job, be very rewarding and would sure be a great motivator to get up out of bed in the morning to go to work!
