Noble Endeavours is a charity that operates within isolated rural regions of the Philippines, empowering indigenous communities to become self sustaining. The charity is headed up by Mid North Coast local, Ian McKay. Ian has a long and heart-moving history with these people and is always looking for ways to build support programs for them. He approached revive with the need for a website that would appeal to corporate Australia and communicate what they are trying to do.

Images are crucial for any website design, especially one with a people focus. In this case we were blessed to have a wealth of photographs that provided a character-filled snapshot of how life in these villages is being transformed by the work of Noble Endeavours. We took full advantage of these, keeping the design simple and clean and letting “a picture tell a thousand words”.

For us, the enticing thing about Noble Endeavours is the practical ways in which they help: education, clean water, farming, medical assistance and economic development. All practical, easy to understand and vital services that are backed up by great images. We focused on smiles instead of frowns to show businesses they can make a real difference. A big bright “donate” button gives a clear call to action.
